You are responsible for reading and abiding by the these Safe Space rules. The moderators of this forum do not have the time or inclination to repeatedly educate you and/or warn you of violations. Likewise, do not expect more of the administrator & moderators of this forum than you do of yourself in terms of sensitivity, civility, and accountability.
 
This forum is for women. Anyone who self-identifies as a woman (including transgender and transitioning) is welcome. All sexual orientations, ages, ethnicities, languages, etc. are welcome.
     Because gender/self-identity cannot be confirmed in an online forum, enforcement of this rule is based on profiles and behavior. If your online profile displays a picture of what is obviously a man or you identify yourself as male in your profile, or if what you say in the forum clearly identifies you as a man, you will be removed from the forum.
 
Civility and consideration are paramount. Be nice and keep it clean. Trolls, in any guise, will be removed and blocked.
     For those who may be unfamiliar with the term, a "Troll" is someone who is hostile, argumentative just to argue, malicious, harassing, threatening, vulgar, insulting, stalking, or otherwise goes out of their way to try to upset or hurt someone. Sadly, they are common online. Do not try to respond to a Troll. If the moderators of this forum do not catch it right away, please connect to and Private Message the forum administrator (michelle@friendica.rhese.net) about your concerns. If you are faced with a Troll outside of this forum, un-friend/block them immediately and notify the administrator/owner of the server/service that they originated from.
 
You are encouraged to introduce yourself, ask questions, and describe your interests here, but please keep it appropriate to all ages and be sensitive to the fact that some topics may be distressing or uncomfortable to others. This is primarily a place to find other women that you would like to connect with and have deeper, more private discussions amongst yourselves if you so choose. If you would like to discuss things like sex, politics, religion, surviving abuse/assault, or anything else that can reasonably be considered a controversial or trigger topic (http://geekfeminism.wikia.com/wiki/Trigger_warning), please just simply and briefly state your interest and ask that similarly interested people directly connect to you to privately carry on such conversations. Along those lines, if you think your post or comment contains a trigger (defined in the previous link) please consider adding an appropriate trigger warning.
